4D ultrasound

We had our 4D ultrasound yesterday. At first I didn't really want to do it because I think they are a little creepy, but I really wanted to make sure that we were in fact having a girl and plus, it was another opportunity to take a peek at this beautiful little baby and to know that she is doing well. Well, it is 100% sure that it is a girl! Now I can start taking tags off of clothes and start washing them and putting them away. So excited!! Of course, being Mike and I's daughter, she would not cooperate for the ultrasound tech lady. All we wanted was a good picture of her face but nooooo, little miss kept putting her hands, arms, feet and sometimes all 4 limbs in front of her face. It was actually kinda funny. You could see the frustration in the tech's face hahaha. She did give us the money shot and we definitely saw vagina (she also showed us her butt crack which Mike thought was pretty funny). It was kinda cool to see her moving around, yawning, sucking and taping her little foot. She is quite bendy. Putting her legs on top of her head and wiggling her toes at the same time. It was really cute. So here are some of the pictures we were able to get. Hope you can figure out what's what. She has very chubby cheeks and likes to bury her face in her placenta. Don't forget that if you want to see the pictures a little bigger, just click on them!

25 week Belly!

Here you go...I know, it looks more like a 30week belly. I've had people say to me "Oh you are due any day now huh?" yeah, no, I'm barely passed the halfway mark, thanks.

25 weeks

I went to my OB appointment today. Again, everything is perfect. Blood pressure is textbook (120/70), baby has a great heart rate and moves around like crazy and I've only gained 2 pounds since the last appointment which apparently is just fine. So that's ten pounds total since the beginning of the pregnancy which baffles me because I feel huge and I'm eating constantly. I have a lot of small meals because this kid is already pretty long and she likes to hang out by my stomach so that I get full really fast (even faster than before). My uterus measures 28 weeks! I seriously think we are going to have a tall, lanky kid...just like her dad! The only concern my OB has is that my hemoglobin is low. Well, it's been low for the last at least 5 years. I usually run between 7 and 9 and it was 7.7 so of course, he put me on another different kind of iron and this one I have to take 3 times a day...crazy. I think I need to buy stock in colace from here on hahaha. So that's what's new. I will try to post belly pics tonight or tomorrow.
