Already 6 months old. I know I say this every month, but it really is crazy how time flies. Sam went to the Doctor again today but at least it was for her well-baby 6 month check up. She now weighs 18lbs 8oz and still measures a little over 27in which puts her in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. She's a big girl and really really strong. Poor Sam had a rough couple of weeks with a viral upper respiratory infection and asthma. She is doing sooooo much better now thanks to steroids. She is now on a steroid inhaler daily for a month and takes that really well.

Our trip to Canada was fantastic. Too short for my liking, but a lot of fun. I'm so glad that my family was able to meet Samantha and her awesome little personality. Sam was excellent on all the flights. She was a total trooper through all the craziness on our flight back when we got stuck in Salt Lake City overnight. I'm so proud of her.

Sam is now sitting upright by herself. She's eating all kinds of solids and loves them. She has a fascination with water bottles. Loves to drink water out of them but if I try to put water in a bottle or a sippy cup, she wants none of it. Little weirdo. She talks A LOT! She literally says "bla bla bla" constantly. It is adorable. She laughs at the cats all the time...especially Joey and Milo.

Big Girl

I'm a chunky monkey!


This was taken last month at the races. You can see that she absolutely loved it. She was sooo good about keeping the headset on to protect those little ears



So we stopped by my work last night with Sam for a little visit. We weighed the little chunky monkey and she is now 18lbs and 26.5in tall. So she has only gained a pound since last month but has grown 2 inches. Mike and I both thought she would weigh more but I guess its because she got taller that she feels heavier. Sam was the star of the show last night. Hamming it up for everyone at work. She is soooo easy going and will let anyone hold her and play with her. Such a fun kid!

Sam is doing great! She's a very active and vocal baby. Hates when we sit down...unless Yo Gabba Gabba is on! Actually, she'll only watch one episode of the show once a day so its not so bad. She loves being outside and going for walks in the morning. She still loves music. If she's cranky, we just put on some good rock and she loves it! She is now eating rice cereal twice a day. We will start vegetables soon. She's very grabby! Wants to touch everything! She loves to blow raspberries and makes us laugh all the time. She's such a fun kid. We went to southern california a couple of weeks ago which was a 5hr car ride and she was so good! We went to the races and she loved it. Followed the cars around the track and everything. She wore a noise reduction headset the whole time and never tried to take it off. We don't have a doctor's appointment til next month but we measured her and she is now 26.5in tall! Don't know how much she weighs now, but its a lot I'm sure.

Sam now weighs 16lbs and measures 25 1/4inches. She is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. She's a little chunky monkey! She is very active and extremely talkative. She has been sleeping through the night for the last 4 nights now...hopefully she keeps up with that. She is so much fun. A total ham when there are other people around. Her laugh is the best sound that I have ever heard. She thinks that her reflection in the mirror is the funniest thing in the world. She has a ticklish tummy and neck. When I go get her from her crib in the morning she gives me the biggest smile which I think is the perfect beginning to my day. She is getting used to me being back at work. Her and daddy have fun and have their own little bedtime routine...very cute.

Our big girl is already 3 months old. At her 3 month appointment she weighed 13lbs 11oz and measured 24in...she's probably close to 15lbs now hahaha. She loves to talk your ear off. She has the best laugh I've ever heard in my life and loves to eat her hands and pull my hair.
